Why did it take so long for the Scalp Purifying Solution to come back in stock?
A lot happened behind the scenes. We ran into unexpected delays related to tariffs, ingredient availability, and switching to a new manufacturer. Instead of rushing, we chose to remake and re-test the formula from the ground up. We only release products that meet our standards — equal to or better than before.
Why did the price change?
The price is now $18 for a 2oz filled tube (previously $27: $24 for 4oz pouch and $3 for the dispenser)

Why is the new size 2oz instead of 4oz?

How many uses will I get out of 2oz?

How will this affect my subscription?
Subscriptions will now ship with 1 × 2oz tube at the new subscription price of $16.20 (10% off) each cycle.

When will my order ship?
SPS is currently being filled, which is why we feel confident opening our pre-order. Because of holiday freight timelines, we expect shipments to leave our 3PL mid to late January.As soon as our warehouse receives the inventory, we’ll share an exact ship date.
Does the new tube replace the old pouch + dispenser system?
Yes. The filled tube replaces the pouch + dispenser, based on your feedback.It’s much easier to apply directly to the scalp, especially through protective styles and between washes.
Can I use SPS with protective styles or locs?
Yes, this formula was especially designed for protective styles and for use in between wash days. The new tube makes it easier to reach the scalp for targeted cleansing.
Can I layer this with scalp oils or treatments?
Yes. We recommend using SPS first (to cleanse and reset), then applying oils or treatments after your scalp is clean and dry.
Can I use SPS on wash day?
Yes. Many customers use it:

Is the tube recyclable?
Parts of the packaging are recyclable depending on your local facility’s ability to process cosmetic-grade flexible tubes. We’re working on expanding recyclability across all packaging.
Will pre-order inventory sell out?
Possibly. Subscribers and customers with open orders are fulfilled first, so pre-order quantities are limited.
What if I don’t like the new version?

How do I adjust my subscription frequency?

I never bought SPS before — can I still pre-order?
Yes! Pre-orders are open to everyone, but will ship after we fulfill existing subscriptions and open orders.
Does the new size qualify for TSA travel limits?
Yes. At 2oz, it’s carry-on friendly.
Will SPS still work for sweat, workouts, and itchy scalp between washes?
Yes, that’s exactly what it’s designed for. The formula breaks down sweat, sebum, and product buildup while calming and refreshing the scalp.
